The artwork I Patterns in Nature
In the remote Kimberley region in the far north of Western Australia is a vast intertidal zone that stretches for hundreds of kilometres. This area has been shaped by monsoon rains and huge tidal movements resulting in some of the most unusual and fascinating textures and colors.
The Artist I Mieke Boynton
Mieke Boynton is widely recognized as one of the most influential female aerial photographers working today. Her photographs have regularly won international acclaim, including at the Epson International Pano Awards in 2019, where three of her abstract aerials received gold awards, earning him the title of Photographer of the Year. Mieke lives in the beautiful alpine valleys of northeastern Victoria, Australia, where she leads workshops and tutorials, and creates fine art prints. Although she has traveled extensively to make her photographs, it is the Australian landscape that provides her with deep and lasting inspiration and joy.
La Collection I Australian Aerials
"Australian Aerials" is an amazing collection of abstract aerial photography taken from planes and helicopters over some of Australia's most remote and inaccessible places. From lakes and salt mines to intertidal zones and ocean floors, these ten abstract images celebrate the stunning variety of colors that make Australia one of the world's premier countries for aerial photography. Here, nature is a master artist, creating incredible shapes, patterns, colors and textures, all while revealing hidden messages and deeper meanings.
