Bromoils, cyanotypes, engravings on copper plates, lith printing take a large part in his work. La Collection I Zabardast
A high altitude travel diary. This series of medium format photographs was taken during the famous 2018 freeride / mountaineering expedition in the Pakistani Karakoram. The quest for the first descent of the mighty north tower of Biacherahi (5880m) resulted in a successful film and photobook by Jérôme Tanon. Bringing back such photos taken on film with the heavy Pentax 6x7 camera was a feat in itself, which paid off when we observed the power of the landscapes and the faces of those who participated in this fully engaged adventure.
