The artwork I Hot River
A single warm geothermal river against the harsh winter conditions of the Icelandic highlands. Water finds its way, inexorably, regardless of the forces that oppose it.
The artist I Ben Simon Rehn
German photographer Ben Simon Rehn lived in Iceland for several years and has since discovered a passion for the Arctic/Subarctic. He is drawn to and specializes in landscapes of arctic and hostile regions of our planet, as well as wildlife photography. To change the season, he regularly travels to the African continent, as a contrast to the north. He focuses on visualizing landscapes, humans and goods in a unique way, with the aim of making the images stand out. In addition, he also wishes through his work to raise awareness of environmental issues and the impact of humans on our planet and wildlife. He is convinced of the positive impact that images can have on communities and of the need to raise awareness about all subjects. Ben Simon has also worked with several major brands in recent years and has published articles in newspapers and magazines around the world.
La Collection I Iceland Aerials
This series aims to show you the unique structures and shapes of our natural world. Water, in particular, shapes the surface of our planet in a way that no other element can. Whether frozen, liquid or in vapor form, the ability of "the source of all life" is extraordinary in every way. Dive into the Arctic's most abstract and stunning mussels, captured mostly from the sky. The more you look, the more similarities you see in everything that connects our planet and our universe. We are nature, just like every living being.
